RIAUMAG.COM , PEKANBARU ———–-In a delightful collaboration between Gabe Tours and visitors from Selangor, Malaysia, a group of 16 tourists embarked on a captivating journey through the historical and religious landmarks of Pekanbaru and Kampar in Riau.
The tour commenced with a visit to the city’s iconic Museum Sang Nila Utama, followed by an exploration of the traditional residence of Tuan Kadi in Kampung Bandar. The grand Masjid Raya Annur provided a serene backdrop for further discussions, which were later continued at the esteemed Fave Hotel Pekanbaru.
On the second day, the Malaysian guests were treated to an enriching experience at the home of Omak Ustadz Abdul Somad. The tour continued with a visit to the scenic Taman Bundaran Pertamina Hulu Rokan, a brief stop at Masjid Albadar for picturesque moments, and a delightful dinner at the renowned Ikan Bakar Patimura restaurant. The evening concluded with souvenir shopping at Mak Ipin.
The third day brought the international guests to Sukaramai Trader Center Pekanbaru, a testament to the diverse offerings of the region. Expressing gratitude, the Director of Gabe Tours remarked, “Alhamdulillah, we welcome guests from Selangor, Malaysia, to Riau for both business meetings in Pekanbaru and the enjoyment of historical and religious tourism in the region.”
Dede Firmansyah, Chairman of the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Riau, praised Gabe Tours for aligning with the mission of ASITA Riau by bringing international tourists to Riau.
